We process building consents for Councils throughout NZ, as a result of ongoing demand we are looking to expand our team.

Whilst we are based in Auckland we will consider applicants located outside of Auckland who can work remotely.

We are looking for current and qualified Building Officials with Res 1 to Com 1 Competency, to undertake a variety of interesting work with ongoing professional and personal development opportunities.

You will be working with a team of highly skilled and competent building officials as well as work closely liaising with Managers and colleagues in processing and/or building inspection areas.

You will need the following:

• Good communication skills.
• Willing to go the extra mile for customers.
• Advanced current working knowledge of the New Zealand Building Code and Building Act.
• NZ tertiary qualification to comply with Reg 18 of BCA accreditation.
• Current experience processing or inspecting residential or commercial projects for compliance with consent requirements.
• Good computer knowledge as we process plans electronically and use mobile technology for inspections.
