Building Consent Approvals Ltd (BCAL) is New Zealand’s first Accredited and truly independent nationwide Building Consent Authority. As we grow, we’re looking for a Quality Assurance Support specialist to help us maintain excellence across our regulatory systems and processes.

In this role, you’ll report to and work closely with our Quality Assurance Manager to help implement and maintain our Quality Assurance Manual, support internal audits, ensure records are accurate and up-to-date, and assist in communicating quality system updates to staff and contractors.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As our Quality Assurance Support, you will report to and work side-by-side with the Quality Assurance Manager to help administer and maintain BCAL’s quality management system.

You will:

· Support the management and upkeep of quality control registers, policies, procedures and records.

· Help prepare for IANZ audits and internal quality reviews.

· Track team training and document updates.

· Assist with communication around quality system changes.

· Coordinate file checks and support compliance with recordkeeping requirements.

This role is ideal for someone highly organised, motivated to learn, and passionate about quality and detail.

· Have some experience in administration, compliance, or quality support (bonus if in a building or regulatory context).
