Waitaki District is growing fast and we need to grow our Building Team to keep up with development.

As a Building Control Officer you will be a team player processing Building Consent applications and completing building inspections across the district.

Ideally we need you to be knowledgeable about construction and building consent processes, to have a good attention to detail and a strong customer service ethos.

The Building team play a critical and professional role ensuring compliance to the Building Act which requires either an appropriate qualification or someone prepared to undertake a supported study programme to achieve a diploma level qualification.

Technical savvy, physically able, mentally astute, quick leaners who can drive are invited to apply to join the highly motivated Building Team at Waitaki District Council as they embark on their greatest period of evolution in recent times.
