We are looking for someone with exceptional customer service and relationship management skills to join our busy building team. In addition to undertaking the building control function, this role also leads a team of Building Control Officers, assisting staff with building consent processing, providing technical advice and providing day-to-day management, training and upskilling of staff.
We are looking for someone with the following skills:
· A good understanding of the NZ Building Act and regulations and proven experience with processing building consent applications
· A qualification in accordance with regulation 18
· Team leader/supervisory experience
· Excellent time management skills
· Good communication skills with the ability to work with customers and staff to identify solutions for complex situations.
