Āpiha Tukatuka Whakamatua Hanganga | Building Control Officer (Processing)

evaluating and processing building consent applications and responding to customer enquiries in accordance with Council policies and legislative requirements.

 

Āpiha Mātāmua Tirotiro Whakamatua Hanganga | Senior Building Control Officer (Inspecting)

inspecting building works in accordance with the building consent and responding to customer enquiries in accordance with Council policies and legislative requirements.

technical lead providing support to the Building Team.

 

Kaiārahi Tukatuka Whakamatua Hanganga | Building Control Team Leader (Processing)

responsible for providing high quality leadership to the Building Control processing team, ensuring staff are competent and confident to undertake the building consent processing function efficiently and effectively.

process Building Consent Applications and answer customer enquiries in accordance with Council's policies and legislative requirements.

 

About you

All applicants must have:

- a Regulation 18 qualification

- a current NCAS Competency Assessment Residential 3

- excellent written and oral communication skills

- a full drivers licence

- the ability to establish and maintain business relationships

- a strong customer focus.

 

Needing to relocate? Not a problem! MPDC can offer a relocation allowance and support for the right candidate.

These are full time, permanent positions based in the Matamata office.
