This permanent fulltime position is based in Amberley, North Canterbury.
You will be carrying out inspections and approving building consents along with other duties around the Building Act. We have a tight knit team with good support and training plus flexibility in the working environment. Building Officers must have a relevant qualification but if you don't that's okay as we will train you to gain it. A good knowledge of the construction industry and legislation would be an advantage.
