City Certifiers has been a Building Consultancy based in Auckland since 2003.

Recently the business has chosen to take a change of direction and we are looking to expand the team and support the wider national BCA industry.

We are growing our team of highly competent Building Officials and looking for senior and intermediate, competent Building Officials.

Whilst our main office is based in Auckland we are looking to grow the team nationally so applicants can be either located in the Auckland region or located throughout New Zealand and work remotely to our Auckland office.

We are a group of forward thinking professionals who are moving ahead and responding to the opportunities through-out New Zealand.

Applicants must be Competency and Reg 18 qualifications to undertake a variety of interesting work with ongoing professional and personal development opportunities.

You will be working with a team of highly skilled and competent building officials as well as work closely liaising with Managers and colleagues whilst processing building consent applications.

You will need the following:

·   Good communication skills.

·   Willing to go the extra mile for customers.

·   Advanced current working knowledge of the New Zealand Building Code and Building Act.

·   NZ tertiary qualification to comply with Reg 18 of BCA accreditation.

·   Current experience processing or inspecting residential or commercial projects for compliance with consent requirements.

·   Good computer knowledge as we process plans electronically and use mobile technology for inspections.

We offer full training and a great salary package ($130k+).
