We are looking to build on our existing strengths and are on the hunt for the right person to take over the leadership of our Building Consents team.
The previous job holder is moving to a new role within the team so we are taking the opportunity to position the team for the future so they can continue to provide our community with professional advice and quality building consent processing services.
In this senior specialist position, you'll be leading your capable team of 8 by developing and motivating them using your proven leadership skills. As a positive team leader, your ability to coach, supervise, mentor and develop the Building Consents team is vitally important. This is a productive team with lots to achieve, and you will lead the way!
You'll bring to the role a robust knowledge and understanding of relevant building legislation, and a demonstrated ability to develop high performing teams. You will also have a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
