TA015 CLAUSE D1 ACCESS ROUTES AND TA016 SAFETY OF USERS (Two part course)
Safety of Users is about ensuring occupant protection including both those involved in the construction industry and those using buildings. The modules covered will ensure an awareness of potential hazards involved in the construction or demolition process, and existing and completed buildings. We recommend employers, as part of their health and safety awareness programme, take advantage of this course for all staff.
Clause D1 Access Routes applies to all buildings and ensures the safe evacuation in the event of an emergency.
Recent history has demonstrated how the correct application of the knowledge contained in this course can reduce the incidence of death & injury. An absolute must for Building Control Officials / Building Surveyors and designers to ensure the Safety of the Community and their neighbors.
This course has been designed to provide the underpinning knowledge and understanding for unit standards 24166 and 214168 and Clauses D1, F1, F2, F3, F4, F5, F6, F7 and F8 of the New Zealand Building Code.
