We are looking for a competent Building Consent Assessor to join our Building Services team. In this role, you will provide an integrated customer responsive approach to building control and consenting functions. You will use technical judgement to deliver customer- and solutions-focused building advice and input relevant to all regulations under the Building Act. Providing e service quality, vetting and technical processing of building consent applications will also be part of your work.

To succeed in this role, you should be working towards or holding a National Diploma in Building Control Surveying or another relevant qualification. You should also be able to demonstrate an understanding and working knowledge of the relevant legislation (Including the Building Act, Building Code and other relevant legislation).

Experience in building control or a similar field, along with an ability to demonstrate understanding of the building control consenting process is desirable but not required.
