Quality Assurance Coordinator
This role coordinates and performs internal audits and compiles the required documentation, responses for external audits to maintain Building Control Authority (BCA) accreditation. You will be a leader in maintaining policies, procedures and systems that comply with the accreditation requirements, and ensuring the quality control functions are performed consistently within the Building Control Unit.
A Quality Assurance Coordinator will be focused on:
- interpreting and applying the requirements of the Building Act, the Accreditation Regulations and other relevant legislation.

Building Compliance Officer
While similar to a building consent officer this role focuses on Territorial Authority (TA) functions and responsibilities.
A Building Compliance Officer will be an expert in applying the Act and the Code relating to the following:
- compliance schedules
- building warrant of fitness
- certificate of acceptance
- notice to fix
- enforcement actions
- building complaints
- assessing situations holistically and or in isolation
