BUILDING CONTROL LODGEMENT COORDINATOR LOOKING FOR NEW ROLE
This candidate's key responsibilities include:
- Assessment of building related application to ensure that adequate documentation is supplied and those without are not accepted
- Adherence to council policy in acceptance or rejection of applications
- Ensuring that the application descriptions are accurate
- Ensure all data entry into the application database is complete and accurate
- Maintaining high quality control regime and ensuring that all applications received have the adequate information to enable effective processing
- Assist fellow team and staff members in handling workload to help meet required deadlines
This candidate also has experience working as an Assistant Site Engineer. Their experience in this role includes:
- Responsible for investigation and checking of the sites for the project
- Interaction with vendor and clients for project approval
- Handling the construction layouts
- Maintaining the daily and monthly reports
- Communicating with clients and their representatives (architects, engineers and surveyors), including attending regular meetings to keep them informed of progress
- Setting out, levelling and surveying the site
- Checking plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations
- Planning the work and efficiently organising the plant and site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines
- Overseeing quality control and health and safety matters on site
- Preparing reports as required
- Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.
This candidate has a Bachelor of Technology in the subject of Civil Engineering. This qualification has been assessed as a NZQA Bachelor's degree at Level 7.
