FIRE INSPECTOR, WITH 18 YEARS BUILDING INSPECTION EXPERIENCE
Looking for a 6 - 8 month contract role in New Zealand, currently based in Canada
This candidate currently works as a fire inspector within a British Columbia Fire Department in Canada. Prior to this 7 year appointment, he worked as a building inspector for 18 years. This candidate has a "can do attitude", with significant experience in both building control and fire, at a high level.
- Qualification: Registered Building Official Level Three of achievement in the Building Officials Association of British Columbia (BC), the highest level of education that the Association has offered and Fire Inspector 2 level from the Fire Prevention Officers Association of British Columbia.
- Current Role: As a Fire Inspector this candidate provides inspection and public safety services for new construction and existing buildings.
- Experience: This candidate has a unique and extensive knowledge of the BC Building Code, City by-laws and BC Fire Codes. They are familiar with all types of buildings and possess both building code and fire code knowledge, with extensive experience in all construction from residential construction to high rise construction.
With the right introduction to the New Zealand Building Code, this candidate would excel in a specialised role, and is looking for a placement from November 2017, for a 6 to 8 month term (will consider returning for a second contract).
