Second round of public consultation: DZ 3640 Preservation of timber and wood-based products

A draft of DZ 3640 was sent out for public comment on 8 December 2017.

Subsequently, 707 submissions were considered by the committee, and as a result there have been significant changes made to DZ 3640 which require further consultation.

Standards NZ and the P3640 committee are not seeking submissions on proposed changes to DZ 3640 already covered in the first round of public comment. These submissions have been discussed by the committee and any changes, as a consequence, are included in this second public comment draft.

If you have already submitted comments in the first round of consultation, please do not resubmit these.

DZ 3602 Timber and wood-based products for use in buildings is being reviewed concurrently and will be out for public consultation shortly.
