About The Role

Depending on your skills and experience, your role may include building consent processing, inspections, or a combination of both.

You’ll use your technical knowledge of the Building Act, Building Code and associated requirements to deliver practical, consistent and compliant outcomes, while building strong relationships with clients, industry professionals and colleagues.

Working as part of our experienced nationwide team, you’ll have the opportunity to work across a variety of BCAs and projects, with autonomy, flexibility and ongoing technical support.

About You

We know experienced building control professionals are valuable, and that everyone is looking for something different from their next role. We’re open to discussing flexible and remote working arrangements and finding an approach that works for you.

Ideally, you’ll have:

  • A Regulation 18-compliant qualification

  • Building consent processing and/or inspection experience

  • Sound knowledge of the New Zealand Building Act and Building Code

  • Current or recent competency within a BCA environment

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills

  • A practical, solutions-focused approach

  • A full New Zealand driver’s licence
