Pacific Steel is New Zealand's only manufacturer of Wire Rod, Reinforcing Bar and Coil products with a production rate of around 250,000 tonnes per year of manufactured steel. Based in Otahuhu Auckland, Pacific Steel has been manufacturing high quality reinforcing steel rod and bar products for over 50 years.

Pacific Steel plays a major role the New Zealand’s construction market with a range of SEISMIC® branded reinforcing bar and coil products. The SEISMIC® branded products are made specifically to meet New Zealand's unique seismic conditions and can be found in commercial, industrial, infrastructure and residential buildings nationwide. Unique branding has been rolled into every coil and bar of SEISMIC® branded products to allow for quick and easy identification on any building site around the country. To identify our products, look out for the unique ‘dot-dash-dash’ markings on mesh, or the written ‘SEISMIC’ brand on reinforcing bar to ensure your grade 500E steel was made by Pacific Steel.*

Alongside the SEISMIC® reinforcing brand Pacific Steel also produces a range of manufactured zinc-aluminium galvanised wire. WIREMARK® branded fencing wire is the only 100% New Zealand made wire and has been developed specifically for our local conditions. The WIREMARK® brand has been tested and trusted by New Zealand’s fencing industry for over 50 years.

*SEISMIC® branded grade 300E and 500E products produced by Pacific Steel are third party certified by the Australasian Certification Authority for Reinforcing and Structural Steels against AS/NZ 4671:2001.
