New Zealand Home Heating Association (NZHHA)

Stand 29

The New Zealand Home Heating Association (NZHHA) was formed in 1985 by a group of wood heating manufacturers and retailers who saw a need to improve the standards of product and workmanship within the industry.

Since then the Association has played a major role in developing clean burning technology for wood burning appliances and improving installation safety standards.

The Association also plays a major role in the development and promotion of clean air standards and sits on the joint New Zealand/Australian Standards Committee – CS 062.

It runs training and certification programmes for installer and retailer members to help ensure that the appropriate standards are maintained at all levels within the industry.

The Association has a wide representation throughout the country with over 220 members nationwide, including 21 manufacturers/importers of heating appliances and flue systems. It is also affiliated with similar trade groups and organisations throughout the world.
