The Building Research Association of New Zealand (BRANZ) provides independent and impartial research, testing, consulting and information services and resources for the building industry to improve the homes, offices and commercial buildings of New Zealand.

Our core purpose is to benefit people's lives through a better built environment in New Zealand. We do this by undertaking research, and providing impartial evidence to inform, educate and motivate the building sector to provide better buildings for New Zealanders.
