GoShift

GoShift is a partnership between central and local government to improve performance, consistency and service delivery across the building consent system. It will deliver a common vision, goals, management framework and quality management for building consent processes across participating councils. More than 20 councils from the Bay of Plenty to Nelson are involved in GoShift. New consistent building consent application forms have been introduced and an online application service is being piloted. The longer term goal is a unified national approach that will make it easier and faster to get a building consent, no matter where you live and work. www.goshift.co.nz
