Accreditation
Accreditation is defined "as the act of granting credit or recognition, especially with respect to education and skill".
The Building Officials Institute is the peak body in New Zealand for Building Surveying, and has the expertise, experience and appropriate resources to recognise and deliver the requirements needed in respective surveying and auditing disciplines.
In response to a need to ensure quality services and public confidence in the way individuals perform inspection and audits on buildings, the Institute is committed to a high quality accreditation requirement for its members.
