SAVE THE DATE: Canterbury/Westland Branch Training and Networking Event
This visit offers a great opportunity to reconnect with one of our membership districts that we have not explored in some time. It is a chance to take in the local sights while also gaining insight into what KDC has achieved in the 10 years since the 2016 earthquake sequence.
Friday afternoon: Branch meeting, followed by dinner (at members' own cost).
Saturday: One or two site visits, finishing around 2.30 - 3.00pm. Option to stay on at members' own leisure and cost.
Sunday: Stay on at members' own leisure and cost.
Our Kaikoura DC host Glenn recommends booking early, as Kaikoura is normally busy with tourists from the start of spring all the way through to the end of April. There are lots of Motel options, below is a couple of links to some good motel / hotel options.
It will depend on your own budget, we recommend checking directly with the motels concerned as well as checking the usual booking sites such as Trivago, Expedia or Hotels.com.
