FEBRUARY 2015

Dear

wELLINGTON BRANCH- 2015 WELLINGTON BRANCH MEETING SURVEY

Thank you for being part of the Wellington Branch of BOINZ.

Last year, the branch executive team met many of you through branch meetings, professional events and work projects. We strongly believe that the building industry thrives on networking and relationships. As the old adage goes, “it’s not what you know, it’s who you know”.

Having said that, in building control, “what you know” has a huge impact on the efficiency and effectiveness of the projects we manage through the consenting process.

In 2014, we made a conscious decision to invite all building control officers from our regional building consent authorities to improve “what we know” as a professional body.

This year we want to do the same, and set in place a programme that best suits your needs, and enables as many people as possible to attend our events. You can help us to deliver what’s best for you by answering a few questions to help us plan this year’s events. There’s even a prize draw for those that answer.

Click here to complete the survey.

It’s about what YOU want, and how we can best to deliver it to you. With your contribution, we can build a vibrant network of building professionals learning together and continuing our professional development.

So, get in and get involved!

Cheers,

The Exec team

Brenda Roberts (Chairperson – Porirua City Council), Richard London (Secretary – MBIE), Rob Tierney (Holmes Farsight), Wayne Goodfellow (NZFS), James Firestone (NZFS), Alan Moule (National Consultants)
