Welcome:
Michael Skelton Acting Chairman for the East Coast Branch welcomed guests and members to the meeting.

General Business:
As Darron Rapson has indicated that he will not be taking up the Chairmanship because of change of employment, there is a need for nominations to fill the vacancy. Michael Skelton was nominated by G van Veen and Seconded M Dymond. As there were no further nominations, Michael was duly elected. No further business was raised.
Michael Skelton, East Coast Branch Chairperson welcomed Scott Truman, the new building officer at Hastings District Council to his first meeting and thanked everyone in attendance and closed the meeting at 4.27pm.
Guest Presentation
Mike Going and Kent Wison of MetroPerformance Glass
The Branch meeting was followed by a training presentation by Mike Going and Kent Wison of MetroPerformance Glass. The Powerpoint presentation was on changes to the NZS 4223 2017 and is now available on request.
Michael Skelton the East Coast Branch Chairperson thanked both presenters for the most informative presentation which was well received by the members and thanked our guests for attending and providing the refreshments.
Next Branch Meeting: Scheduled for May 29th at 3.30pm, Napier Sailing Club West Quay Ahuriri Napier.
