Chair Bryan Clark welcomed attendees to the first meeting of 2024.

Board Representatives Report:

Karel spoke on the recently held SGM on 16 February 2024 to pass the new Constitution and the importance of this new document.

Update on the Degree, advising the plan is to launch this at Conference.

Karel on behalf of the Board, honoured two Members who each have over 20 years of continuous Membership, by presenting them with a Gold Medal and a Certificate sponsored by CHH.

None raised by attendees.

 

Guest Presentations:

Steven Turnbull of Comfortech

Presentation on H1 changes and how Comfortech products work to achieve compliance and make the installers life easier.

Malcolm Christie of Ryanfire Products (Ltd)

Presentation their fire rated products and how they work. Malcolm elaborated on the framework Ryanfire use for testing and how compliance is met.
