Email correspondence was received from BOINZ National Office relating to the Special General Meeting held 16/02/24.

Call for nominations for BOINZ Excellence Awards.

Letter sent from BOINZ National Office to Alan Gaskell retiring member from Grey DC after 16 years as a member.

Networking and Social Event - The Canterbury and Westland Quiz Night:

Jenny introduced the MC for the quiz Kerry Walsh.

Rules of play were explained:

  • Five rounds of ten questions
  • Questions were building related and aimed to test your knowledge of the Building Code, Legislation, local area, common terms and jargon. The final round was building related music.
  • Rounds were marked by teams and scores totalled by Jenny and Liz
  • Attendees formed six teams including those attending online.

 Jenny awarded spot prizes throughout the quiz and the winning team was announced as the SORGS – a prize will be sent out by BOINZ HO

Jenny thanked Kerry for a great job MCing and congratulated the winning team.
