Agenda
Site Visit: Hastings Medical Campus
Originally located at 101 Queens Street, the Hastings Medical Centre found that they were too small to accommodate their 28,500+ patients and 20+ General Practitioners. For well over a year they have been developing a new Medical Campus at the corner of St Aubyn Street West and Kings Street North, which boasts a length of 4,000 meters, over 150 car parks and room to grow. Hastings Health Centre Chief Executive Andrew Lesperance says the new Health Centre will be one of the most advanced primary care medical facilities in the country. The site tour will begin at 3.00pm and will be followed by the Branch Meeting in one of the Medical Campus rooms.
The Cost of the project is around 16 million, and they are currently completing the "Defect Phase". CPU inspection is booked for April 9th and will be applying for a Code Compliance Certificate at the end of April. The Urgent Care Centre will open April 27th and full services will be available from the April 29th 8am - 9pm.

- The Bella Vista Report regarding Tauranga City Council was a very interesting read, members would like to have a presentation regarding this at the May 28th Branch event.
- There was discussion around whether East Coast Branch should look at changing their event dates and times. Members present confirmed they were happy with the current format.
