About the role
We've a great opportunity to progress your career by growing your skills across building consent processing, with the opportunity to develop into building inspections work.
Working in a smaller geographic area means the team can spend regular time together and informally share information and learning. With a supportive and encouraging Manager and team, your skills, knowledge and experience will be valued and respected.
About you
You will thrive on variety and proactively strive to grow your skills through achieving competency across the residential and commercial fields. Ideally you will have some experience and qualifications behind you (inspections / processing / surveying / design) and you’ll enjoy applying your technical building knowledge to make Nelson an even safer place.
Your strong teamwork and customer service focus will complement your great communication skills and natural ability to build positive relationships with a variety of people.
A good sense of humour, proficient computer skills, full drivers licence and ability to work within a regulatory environment are essential.

This is a full-time role offering a salary range of $75-110k depending on qualifications, existing competencies held, skills and experience.
