ABOUT YOU: 

To be considered for this role you will:

  • Be an effective and proven leader, with experience in a wide range of building control functions.
  • Possess a good level of current technical building knowledge and current competency assessment, up to commercial 3.
  • Have prior experience in residential and commercial building inspections, and understand remedial design review and construction methods.
  • Have a strong knowledge of the NZ Building Act 2004, Building Code, BCA Accreditation Regulations and other relevant legislation.
  • Be a good communicator who can build and maintain relationships
  • Be working towards or already have a complying qualification for building control surveying under BCA Accreditation Regulation 18.
  • Be able to demonstrate your experience across residential and commercial site/building inspections.
