This is an opportunity to contribute directly to the future of the community within an expanding Building Control Team at Hauraki District Council - where it's more than just a job.

The main purpose of this role is to review, process and monitor building consents, undertake building inspections, and provide information in respect of the Building Act.

Ideally you will have knowledge of building legislation as well as practical experience in the field of building, plumbing and drainage. At least 3 years' experience in a similar role is desired and basic computer literacy is essential.
