We have a fantastic opportunity for you to advance your career as a Senior Building Control Officer and be part of our exceptional team.
The Senior Building Control Officer (Inspections) plays an important role in working with the Building Control Services team to ensure building inspections and related work are undertaken efficiently, and to a high standard, whilst appropriately managing risk. You'll manage a caseload of building inspections and decisions for code compliance certificate, including those for more complex buildings, and manage and allocate workloads on a day to day basis, and manage, mentor and peer review the work of more junior staff.
If you have a good level of building industry experience, are positive, committed and highly technically competent in all that you do, and you want to step up to a role that is both hands on and supervisory, then you won't get much better than our city and our team. You'll be the go to person for inspectors, able to find sound solutions efficiently in a busy and dynamic working environment.
