We are seeking a Senior Commercial Building Review Officer to provide commercial expertise to the team and take a lead on our larger, more complex commercial applications. Alongside this, you will be on hand to provide technical advice, coaching and assistance to the team and the wider department. You will be providing a critical service that contributes to the growth and development of our incredible City.

Working alongside our Senior Residential Building Review Officer to act as a technical lead and essential support to our Building Review Team Leader, our ideal candidate will:

  • Hold a Regulation 18 qualification
  • Commercial 3 competency in processing
  • Have a high level of experience processing consent applications, especially commercial
  • Be strong in customer relationship management
  • Be pragmatic about negotiating towards solutions
  • Be a great communicator
  • Enjoy developing, mentoring, and providing feedback to others
