As a Building Technician, your mission will be to support our processing team by vetting building consent applications and liaising with customers to address technical enquiries and resolve minor queries.
Our ideal candidate will have good understanding of building terminology with the ability to analyse and understand building plans, specifications and reports. You will be a great communicator and be comfortable using your communication skills to build rapport with both internal and external customers. Professionalism and accuracy will be a critical requirement of the role as will the ability to multi task and prioritise different types of work.
This position would suit an individual looking to utilise your current building knowledge or as a stepping stone for someone considering a career change into the processing or inspecting space in the future. It is a busy and demanding environment so we welcome someone with a good sense of humour and positive attitude.
