You will be the go-to property maintenance person for assigned council owned buildings and facilities in the district. The workload offers variety plus: you could be overseeing minor capital works projects one day and focusing on contract management or property inspections or legislative compliance the next. Vehicle fleet management and co-ordination of our building emergency schemes are also key tasks under your umbrella.
This is a position that calls for your practical building knowledge. It's likely you'll come from a building/construction background with experience in property or building inspections for Local Government, or a facilities management background and that you have hands on experience managing small projects. It is essential that you are digitally agile and ideally have had project management experience in small scale projects.
