Do you have a broad range of business and technical disciplines in the construction sector and are ready to take your construction and building knowledge in a different direction? Join our team and we will assist you to grow your career.
You will be provided with excellent technical product training as you transition into this office and site-based position. Reporting to the Technical Manager, you will play a pivotal role in our technical team, with your key objective to support product and technical knowledge outside our company while always being focused on safe work practices.
Your day will be filled with responding to technical product queries including some site inspections working closely with clients; liaising with our sales and marketing team with queries and some training and product presentations from time to time; as well as using your listening and people skills to resolve customer issues. Some travel throughout New Zealand will be required from time to time depending on the requirement of support to our customer.
It goes without saying that your people and communication and literacy skills will be excellent! You will enjoy learning new things, have health & safety knowledge, and be skilled at listening to people and thinking of ways to solve problems through your practical and analytical thinking.
You might have worked in the building trade for a number of years and you’re looking to get off the tools, or you’ve be involved in other aspects of the residential or commercial construction industry, or you are looking to move into a customer focussed business role.
