Who are we looking for?

If you have previous experience as a Building Control Officer and are ready to make your mark in a role that is all about guaranteeing the quality of buildings and ensuring they are appropriate and sustainable for the future, we want you to join our team.

You will bring with you;

  • A national Diploma in Building Control Surveying or trade certified

  • 3 + years’ experience of the building and construction industry

  • Knowledgeable in the building industry legislations and related New Zealand Standards

  • Eligible for membership of the Building Officials Institute of NZ

  • Ability to work in a positive team environment

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Proven track record or developing and maintaining relationships
