The Role

The Farsight Team is looking for an experienced Technical Building Specialist in our Wellington team. 

 

Salary

Farsight has a transparent team pay scale based on current market rates related to people's competency and experience. We also provide other generous benefits.

 

Work Location

Farsight embraces a flexible working culture, but the cohesive nature of this role would require a commitment to work from the CBD office for the majority of the working week.

What you should bring:

The ideal candidate will have a recognised qualification in the construction industry (Preferably BCA Regulation 18 qualified). Proven experience working in a client-orientated professional setting is preferable, and experience working in local government building control is a prerequisite.

 

The key responsibility in this role is the delivery of building-related regulatory services to clients. This ranges from meeting and liaising with project teams and councils, working with project teams to identify project compliance solutions, and assisting BCAs across the scope of their functions and accreditation.

The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work on a variety of significant national projects.
