Taitara Mahi – Building Compliance Officer
Permanent Full-Time
We are looking for a Building Compliance Officer who will lead and manage the monitoring, compliance and enforcement activities for our building and compliance teams, known for their quality and ability to deliver.
This is customer service focused role, responding to and investigating building related complaints. There is a strong project management component with the need to implement and complete projects including Building Warrant of Fitness Processing and Audits.
The successful candidate will have:
Building Control Qualification, or working towards one
Sound knowledge and experience in building control environment
Project Management Experience
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
A cool and collected manner when working under pressure
Public sector experience desirable
