We are looking for a Building Control Officer with at least three years field experience to join our busy team. This role will include but is not limited to, electronic processing of building consents, carrying out inspections and preparing and maintaining relevant records and schedules.
The successful candidate will have effective communication skills, a keen eye for detail, a high level of customer service, and be able to successfully plan and manage their time and workload. In order to be considered for this role, you must be conversant with and maintain a good working knowledge of, relevant Acts, associated statutes and regulations, Council Bylaws, and building materials and methods. You must hold a current full New Zealand Drivers Licence to be considered, additionally, you should hold or are working towards a Building Control qualification.
