The Building Technical Officer role is full-time and sits within our Building Assurance team who are proud contributors to the growth of our community. We put all our energies into providing peace of mind through the delivery of building consent and inspection services across the Tasman District. Our focus is on developing a progressive Building Consent Authority with great people, great attitude and great tools. We like to challenge ourselves to do better - in everything we do.
You'll primarily be responsible for checking and processing electronic building consent applications and responding to related enquiries from our customers. You'll come to us with a sound working knowledge of all relevant building statutes, regulations and standards, strong communication skills and an agile approach to work…or maybe you are already working in the wider industry and keen to grow further?
