Pre-Purchase Building Surveyor

We are a small business in the heart of the Bay of Plenty. Operating successfully for 5 years and continuing to grow. We now require an additional pre-purchase building surveyor to carry out property inspections in the Bay of Plenty area.

You will be mainly focusing on Rotorua clients with travel to other surrounding areas when needed.

We do require you to have a qualification in the Building Industry, for example being Trade Certified and/or holding a current license (LBP) or have proven work history in this industry.We will offer the opportunity to gain a qualification with BOINZ if you don't already have one. Also, we would require you to become a NZQA qualified Methamphetamine sampler as this one of the other services we offer.

The successful applicant will be able to:

·        You will have a sound knowledge of the NZ Building Act.

·        Be confident using smart phone technology with basic knowledge of computers.

·        Proof of a clean current driver’s license.

·        Be available for software training and on the job training in Wellington for 2 days

commencing  employment.

·        Display good time management and be able to work unsupervised.

·        Must be a team player and show integrity.

·        Need to be physically fit.

·        Must be a New Zealand Resident.
