Building Services Advisor

As PNCC’s Building Services Advisor you’ll enjoy the challenge and variety that comes with providing advice on building control related matters and current council sustainability initiatives. If you are the kind of person who has a good understanding of relevant Building Statutes, Codes, and Standards, is organised and can quickly pick up and follow processes then this could be the opportunity for you.

Given your background in customer service and your rapport with people the transition into this role will be smooth; you’ll be providing helpful and professional advice to the Palmerston North community in no time at all.

Your strong communication skills will be valuable in this role as you will be required to interact with a wide range of people from varying backgrounds.   While experience in the building industry is preferred, your motivation to provide professional and efficient customer service is just as important to us.
