We are looking for people with the right mix of experience and skills to join a busy, progressive team that's working to meet customer expectations and the requirements of the Building Act.

You will be able to manage your time effectively to ensure a team approach to meeting deadlines, a good level of computer skill and an understanding of document management systems is required.

We are looking for people who get things done and have empathy for the challenges and risks faced by building consent applicants, while keeping a steady eye on the legal requirements. You will also have a strong emphasis on quality customer service, be able to work well in our small but multi-skilled team, be proactive with a positive attitude and have a sound ability with great written and oral communication skills.

We are keen to hear from people with a recognised qualification as required by the Building Act and proven experience in the building industry would be advantageous. A framework for remuneration based on this experience, and the achievement and maintenance of competencies, is currently being developed therefore, a willingness to undertake further professional development is required and expected of those appointed to these roles.
