Canterbury Residential Guidance online tool released
An online tool that supports the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE) technical guidance document on repairing and rebuilding houses affected by the Canterbury earthquakes has been released.
Titled Getting to grips with the Residential Guidance, the tool adds to MBIEs ongoing education programme on the Guidance and is particularly suited to people new to the Canterbury Rebuild who may be unfamiliar with the Guidance and the ongoing updates. It also supports future building work in Canterbury.
Getting to grips with the Residential Guidance is for people and organisations involved in the Canterbury Rebuild, including engineers, architects, designers, building consent authorities and project management offices. It does not replace the guidance Repairing and rebuilding houses affected by the Canterbury earthquakes document, but should be used in conjunction with it.
