Chris Randell
Chris has over 30 years experience in the building industry starting out as a labourer and working his way up to construction foreman/site manager.
The last 11 years Chris was a building official in various roles at the Dunedin City Council.
In early 2014 Chris established his own business Building Compliance Solutions Limited. The aim of the company is to provide services to stakeholders in the building industry and related fields.
Chris' expertise lies in the following areas:
- Being able to read, interpret and implement legislation
- Read and interpret technical plans, specifications and detail
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Initiate, implement and develop procedural change
Chris has an overall sound knowledge of what is required to be part of an effective and efficient Building Control Authority. He is also an expert on compliance schedules and has on many occasions lectured on this subject at various seminars and conferences.
